About Rev. Steven Winn
I’m 65 now. Since I was twenty I have meditated and done various spiritual and religious practices for 3 to 5 hours a day. Along the way I married my wonderful wife of 35 years. We have two adult children who live in Amma’s ashram in Kerala, India, and I served as a Christian minister for 18 very fulfilling years. (Unity Church and the Mystical Fellowship of the Holy Spirit Church in Fairfield, IA.)
To have this amount of time dedicated to my spiritual evolution and my family, I had to start and own my own businesses so I could control how many hours a day I worked. Overall I was very fortunate in business.
Ultimately, the purpose of this blog is to start the process of healing the wounds in the Heart of America.
These are my experiences on both the Path of Consciousness and the Path of the Heart.

The odd numbered posts describe my mystical experiences on the Path of the Heart.
Post # 1 describes my first experience of living in my heart.
Post # 3 describes my experience of being overwhelmed by the pain and wounds in the Heart of America.
I didn’t start on the Path of the Heart. I started 45 years ago on the Path of Consciousness when I learned the process of transcending through my mind. It’s called the Transcendental Meditation technique, and it really worked perfectly for me. But my heart wanted even more.
The even numbered blogs start with my experiences on the Path of Consciousness. I describe my spiritual experiences chronologically, starting from a very young age.
However, I inserted my “Awakening” experiences first because I think most people are interested in that.
Blogs 2, 4, 6, and 8, describe my experience of gaining Cosmic Consciousness and Unity Consciousness, and the readings that predicted those awakenings.
Christianity has played a very big part of my spiritual progress. It was the ancient teachings of the Desert Fathers and Mothers of the 3rd and 4th centuries that caused me to pursue the Path of the Heart in 2013.
The blogs that relate to the Desert Abbas and Ammas will be listed in the Desert Fathers tab.
At our deepest levels, everyone has a pristine loving Heart and the blissful, profound awareness of Pure Consciousness. My wish is for you to experience these deep parts of yourself.
